Driving defensively means driving in such a way that you reduce the risk of a crash, which will in turn prevent injury to yourself and others. It means going beyond following the rules of the road to put safety first. For example, if another driver is supposed to yield the right-of-way to you but fails to do so, as a defensive driver you will yield the right-of-way to that driver to avoid a collision.

Educating Children With Cerebral Palsy

Cerebral palsy (CP) in children is a neurological disorder caused due to damage to those parts of the brain controlling motor skills. It cannot be completely cured. However, through specialized care and training children with CP may develop skills required to lead a normal life.

Intelligence determines the physical progress that is required in a child with CP. Intelligence may be determined in a child accurately with CP as young as 18 months of age. Facilities for emotional guidance must be available in schools of such children and for parents too. Lest, some children may not be able to achieve the expected physical and mental progress.
