Expanding Your Medical Career with a Bachelor’s Degree
Every year we witness ever more growth in the health care industry. The research done by so many specialists and researchers brings us new medications, now procedures and new tools for diagnostics and treatments. It seems that almost daily news of these accomplishments can be found in magazines and newspapers. The application of these developments all lead to improved care of patients, and it is necessary for caregivers to keep abreast of the new development so that they do not fail in providing the best care that is possible, This is particularly true in the area of nursing, since nurses spend far more time in contact with patients than any other professional caregiover. Nurses need to be trained for these developments, and for optimal career growth, a basic RN degree is no longer suitable if a nurse wishes to fully develop her career and meet the many challenges and ever-expanding demands that high-level job positions demand so as to provide the absolute best care in hospitals and other healthcare institutions. The goal to break away from an RN position should be to obtain a BSN degree. It is possible to pursue coursework for the BSN while remaining in your current position. It is not necessary to have to take time to attend campus classes that are held on a rigid schedule. You can upgrade from your rn to bsn online degrees by attending classes over the Internet, at a time and in a place most suitable to your busy schedule.
This rn to bsn online program has been offered beginning in 1980. It permits working nurses to pursue the classes on their own schedule while continuing their assignments and gaining experience. The professional faculty ensures that the coursework presented is continually updated to reflect changes in the industry and to reflect any changes in policy or regulations covering health care. Besides general nursing classes, a basic core curriculum is required that helps to educate the whole individual so that they can adjust to the changes in the overall society and to develop a mindset for ethical issues as applied to health care. This rn to bsn online program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Visit the website to learn the details for this BSN degree.

Should the G8 be in charge of education, sustainable development and humanitarian services in the Developing world
Lessons in life come via formal and informal education, while formal education by most is valued as a human right it can also be utilized to train and develop partakers into self-sufficient contributors and participants towards the development of sustainable societies. Many others take education for granted and use it to spread general and even useless knowledge. Education must be taken seriously to protect Human Rights and enhance peace and sustainable environments in developing societies. Since there are immediate troublesome conditions throughout the world, and especially in developing states in Africa, one must deeply consider what role formal education can play to hasten holistic development of the people towards bringing solutions to conflicts. Many of the G8 nations have been the caretakers of the developing world for at least the last century. Although this time has proven to be quite successful for most of the developing nations, has there really been any measurable success for African people Has there been measurable success for poor people And not to unfairly place blame, has anyone besides the G8 even taken the interest or responsibility to find solutions to help educate and assist development in poor countries otherwise
Parent’s Involvement in Children’s Education
ABSTRACT
The importance of parental involvement as an accelerating and motivating factor in their children’s education is a worldwide-accepted fact. This research project provides an in depth explanation along with specific reasons, the importance of parents’ involvement in their children’s education. It also discusses the parenting techniques, their types and their consequences if neglected. It also describes the ways to measure the outcome of the positive parental involvement. Furthermore, it mentions the teachers involvement and the difficulties faced by the teachers in getting parents involved in their children’s (this is further supported by the examples of two teachers who with their deliberate efforts won the parents over to devote their maximum attention towards their children), single-parent involvement, children’s own efforts to improve their academic levels and joint home-school based interventions. A detailed analysis of the different main ideas is given, based on the findings from other research surveys and projects.
INTRODUCTION
Parental involvement can be seen to fall into three types 1) Behavioral, 2) Intellectual and 3) Personal. The research explores the effect of multi-dimensional participation of parents and the resulting progress of children in their studies when different parental resources were dedicated to them. Actively participating parents help their children in their academic development by going to schools and participating in open houses. By keenly observing the behavior of their children they can rightly judge the kind of behavior or the allocation of resources required by their children. Such caring parents can also motivate teachers to become more attentive towards a particular student, thus maintaining the cycle of parent-teacher involvement. Encourage Building up cognitive and perception abilities in a child is a major concern in the upbringing of the child. The way the parents involve their children in cognitive learning is by exposing them to different cognitively stimulating activities and materials such as books, electronic media and current events at home. This helps the child to practice all sorts of language comprehending skills at the school. The results show a remarkably positive behavior at the school and with peers.

The higher education sector is quite unlike other industries. It has its own processes and a different set of demands. Most commercial proprietary application vendors develop their applications focused on a wider domain spread across industries. This, academics complain, creates a distinct disconnect between software vendors and the end-users in academia.
To overcome these shortcomings, the education industry started looking to open source as an alternate model. Around a decade back, institutions started debating total cost of ownership in adopting an open source based community approach vis-à-vis proprietary applications, viability of open source based business models, sustainability and security issues.
The success of community developed open source software is quite well established. Linux and Apache are ample proof of its success. A similar trend, though not that widespread in its reach, can be traced to the development of community projects in education like the Moodle and Sakai.
