Duration : 2 three-day modules spread over 6-8 months (the actual gap depends on the progress on the shop floor)

Objective : To give clear understanding of the fundamental concepts of TPM To overview 8 pillars of TPM To focus on 16 types of wastes in a industry To give a hands-on training on Autonomous Maintenance To highlight actions to be taken as Pillar Heads & Team leaders
Description: TPM Pillar Head is a hands-on program focusing on the basic concepts of TPM and the role to be played by the Pillar Heads in achieving the TPM goals of Zero accident, Zero Breakdown & Zero defects
Contents: Phase 1: Introduction to TPM Overview of 8 pillars Understanding losses
Details of the four pillars: Autonomous maintenance (steps 1-3) Planned Maintenance (steps 0-1) Training & Education (step 1-2) Focused Improvement (step 1-4)
Phase 2: This phase will cover the balance steps of these pillars Will also cover the other pillars such as Safety, Office TPM, Quality Maintenance and Initial Flow Control
